Falling off the Edge of the World
Inspired by Suzi Blu‘s prompt to ‘Start with a Flower‘.

Orange and Red
This one doesn’t feel finished yet but I ran out of ideas.

Paws
Started a while ago, still in progress. I’m thinking of adding a little pocket where I can insert the little cardboard bit.

The Bees Knees
Andrew gave me a watercolour Moleskine and some awesome watercolour pencils (Faber-Castell. Love them, they are so soft) for my birthday. So I’ve been trying those out. I have to say I LOVE working on watercolour paper. It feels a lot more versatile than regular sketch paper.

  • These are really great! I especially love the ‘Falling off the edge of the world’ piece, as a kid I often imagined standing at the edge/end of the world (when I still thought the earth was flat).
The googly eyes made me laugh!

Iris: Thanks Ay! I love spicing up my pages with a 3D element, if it’s a funny one even better!

I LOVE your stuff!! It’s very immediate — does that make sense? It’s like you; poured onto the page.

Iris: Thank you hun! That’s a big compliment!

  • A late happy birthday!! I’m thinking about buying myself some art supplies for my birthday. And yes, I want to get to doing art at least once a week as well. I think I might join you soon with the art blogging :) :)

Iris: Thanks Carlie!! I’d love to see your art!
