    This was fantastic to watch, I also love to use water colour paint over modelling paste just for texture, but haven’t yet used it through a stencil, would love to try that out. I also have not mixed acrylic and water colour on the one piece… Lots to explore, thanks for inspiring me πŸ™‚

    What beautiful stencils. I enjoyed watching your video where you used one of the Artist Cellar stencils. I would begin using these stencils as a mixed media page in my art journal & I would also like to use them on a canvas. And then I would use them wherever my imagination takes me.     If I would be fortunate enough to win the stencils I would use them to incorporate the designs in various mono prints I would create. After that process I would turn that project into cloth paper and use it in a variety of ways in my art. My fingers are crossed with hope of being selected. Artcellar is one of my favorite companies – excellent products.

  25. I would use the stencils to create backgrounds in my journal. A whitewashed, pastel effect for a spring/s summer spread, or maybe a stained glass effect for a religious themed page. Probably both!

  47. Blown away. Seriously loved how you used the stencil as the dress.
    Everything is gorgeous, loved the use of the modeling paste.
    The gold flakes on the paste is perfect.
    This stencil would be cool to use as a series of 3 girls and tall skinny canvases, each similar but a little bit different from one another. Oh I would also use it as the base, bark of a tree, or use part of the stencil for background houses. I also like the tall size as portions can be used separately. I love that it’s taken from Notre Dame, a little Parisian drawings surrounding it would be fun. Also the shapes len way to different colors giving a cool stained glass look. Nice job Iris!

    Just beautiful to watch you paint with watercolors Iris! I have never used the paste before so this was very interesting. Love the cathedral stencils! I would like to try them as background in a painting sometime but I loved using them as a dress. Thank you!
