Giveaway! Book of Days 2019 with Effy Wild

Book Of Days Giveaway

I’m super thrilled to have been asked back by Effy Wild to teach on one of her courses! Last time I taught on Radiant, this time I will be involved in Book of Days!

For the whole of 2019 Effy will be working alongside 12 guest teachers (and I’m one of them, yay!) as we bind our own journals (optional), do a deep dive into art journaling, learn new techniques, explore all the ways we use the art journal, and fill our journals up with gorgeous spreads!

BOD-All-Stars-Guest-TeachersIf you want to create a practice, and then nourish it in the loveliest company, this is the right course for you. BOD is not just an art journaling e-course. It is a circle of open-hearted, arms-stretched-wide sisters. It is a gathering of wild ones who are devoted to their own practice, and you are so very welcome to join us.

I absolutely love being part of this course because Effy’s approach to art journaling and holding space is so close to my own practice. She invites in all the feelings, the light and the dark, and that is exactly what my journaling is about too.

If that sounds like the type of art journaling you would like to learn more about and incorporate into your life, this should be perfect for you. I hope you will join us!

Registration opens on 1 November!

    • I love art journaling because it has opened a whole new world for me!
I had my first experience on the Creativity Summit and found your class with the non-dominant drawing exercise truly enlightening and Effy’s class awoke in me long buried stuff that has since emerged from the depths through my dreams and also inspired creativity in other areas of my life where I was stuck. I am a word person and loved writing in my journal but I wasn’t getting past “the shit”. Using art supplies & techniques is a whole new experience for me that has done wonders for moving me out of my head space and thinking and into my heart space and being present in the moment. It’s revealed shadows that need to be brought to the light and dispersed as well as shackles that need freeing around perfection & perspective; and, taking up space. I love the ritual around art journaling that you both shared and felt it to be a healing process.

  52. I love art journaling because it gives me a safe place to get in touch with my deeper emotions, the ones that I don’t allow to surface unless I am with people I truly trust. I don’t have to share my journal, it is something that is mine and is for me.

  135. I love art journaling because it is my creative release. I live in a world where i revolve around my children and other responsibilities. This is my thing! 😁

  136. I love Art Journaling because I can really put down my art and feelings and then I feel the healing. This gives me pleasure and me-time early in the mornings!

  137. Hi Iris, i love art journaling because i will take some time for myself instead of doing housecleaning😉i will learn a lot and of course i love art journaling💕

  138. I love art journaling because it’s my favourite creative outlet and it’s just for me, it allows freedom of expression and you can do it anywhere.

  139. I love art journaling because it is simply for me! not for children, or husband, or family, or students….just for me.

  140. I love art journaling because it provides a place to just explore and practice without the commitment of it having to become a “real” painting.

  141. I love art journaling because I can express myself through art, because I escape from the real world for a few minutes and because it benefits my mental health 🙂

  142. I love art journaling because I can make beauty out of my sh*t. My pages don’t hurt anybody. 😉 It’s a great relief especially for me and my family. Thank You for this offering.

  143. * I love art journaling because it allows me to spend time with myself, to be free and fearless ( at least try to the most I can ^^), to explore techniques I am not familiar with, to mix all the wrong colors together if I want to, to watch my journal gradually take life and develop its own character, to look back at the things I created and find them all in one place, to notice the evolution of my work (emotions, techniques…). And more importantly I love art journaling because my journal is like a little home, and I hold the only key 🙂 *
